Immaculately clean, wonderful decor and attention to detail made this place such a pleasure.
We were greeted by the super kind and friendly Ronald who continued to look after us throughout our stay.
Breakfast was amazing too. Totally delicious and beautifully presented.
Can’t fault this place at all.
Do yourself a favour if your staying in Montagu and stay at Monte Vista.

  What a pleasant place to visit. Reception works like clockwork. Assistance with luggage and explanation of facilities in the room in detail. Very well stocked honesty bar. Beautiful swimming pool... read more with easy-chairs around it. Very tasty breakfast with great variety. Very helpful owner/hostess. Rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. Only item we missed was a TV in the room, although a huge screen is up and running in the common area. We will be back again.

Room and all facilities are beautiful and stylish. Super clean. Very comfy beds and good quality linen.
We stayed here in June so did not use the pool, but pool looks amazing, would love to enjoy a pool day here in summer. Beautiful garden. Good secure off street parking.
We would not want to stay anywhere else when we visit Montagu again

We looked at the various hotels online and chose Monte Vista. We were not disappointed, it is a very well run boutique hotel with secure off-street parking. We booked a Luxury Twin Modern Room nicely decorated, with walk-in shower. The staff is very friendly. We think that it is good value considering that an excellent breakfast was included. The only downside is the lack of good restaurants in Montagu.
